DESCRIPTION: Two storey rural house in a tranquil and secluded part of one of the more popular Yambol villages.
This property is located on the side of a small hill, and has a somewhat elongated shape, with gentle slopes, terraced sections, and a profusion of shrubs, vines, fruit trees, and matures walnut trees.
The property is accessed from an unpaved side street, having a narrow entrance area and a relatively long driveway. As you make your way towards the house, you come across a small brick and reinforced concrete garage, and then a series of rudimentary adobe (mud brick) outbuildings; the garden (separated by a small fence) lies to the right, and runs along the paved driveway.
The house, its self, sits at the back (north/east) of the plot, and the garden spreads out (and upwards) towards the fields (south), and the unoccupied adjacent property (east). To the rear, and very much out of view, lie the other neighbouring houses and gardens.
The ground floor is built into the natural gradient of the land, and accessed from the east side of the structure. The layout inside is the standard entrance corridor, and three rooms with low ceilings ( approx 6-7 ft/ 1.90m). A somewhat unusual X-shaped external staircase, leads to the two terraces on the second level, and the interior consists of 3 rooms, and a hallway.
Despite having been vacated some time ago, the house remains in good shape both structurally and aesthetically. The submerged sections of wall on the ground floor do not appear to be falling victim to the effects of humidity (which could be expected in many unoccupied dwellings under similar conditions).
Upgrading this property, other than some form preemptive action to “nip in the bud” potential problems that might arise from seasonal ground moisture; and the creation an indoor bathroom/toilet, and a kitchen area, will largely involve cosmetic work.
